For mythical beast - nothing works yet, even with mythical feed. Unlike normal tames such as nidhogs/panthers/tigers/bears where carnivore feed actually retains a certain percentage of their wildness. Peregriffs/Colossus do not eat carnivore feed.Ĭolossus will eat cured fine meat/cured meat like peregriffs/windriders.

Even if u feed mythical feed on peregriff/colossus, the result is the same - its wildness will deplete! Its either a bug or intentional by devs, i do not know. So make a wooden chair, sit on it and go afk for hours.Ĭurrently, there's no proper feeding system to retain mythical creature wildness. Mine finished taming with half constitution bar still retained. U'll have ample time untill it gets tamed with cured fine meat. Mythical feed would definitely work faster.ĭuring the 6-7 hours, i did not need arrows/club to maintain its constitution. I fed level 80 Windrider 600+ cured fine meat and it took around 6-7 hours till fully tamed. However, feeding mythical feed will tame it faster. Windriders "do not have wildness bar" cause its just not a finished developed creature to tame. There's no point in trying to feed it expensive feed to retain wildness. I only turn the house seal on when it goes berserk rampaging the walls, and when it was time for me to club it down. Thats like 500 magic essence.Ī house seal requires u to fuel it with magic essence. Too expensive and 100 arrows would not be enough. (depends on what quality of durability ur club has)ĭont waste ur time making those expensive iron hooked arrows. It'll take around 3-5 clubs to put it down. The head sticks out of the taming pen after evolve. I recommend making the taming pen 3 walls high and wide like 5 walls wide. In fact my nidhog is sitting ontop of the trap in the picture (Drogon II) xD This was taken after luring a griffin into the trap and started taming it for my friend who lost his recently. I've tested it to work 100% with griffins and nidhogs. xDįor reference this is the inside of my 'trap'. would 1 wall open still work or would it need more to get in? Of course I'd have to make a bigger trap for something like that anyways, as the current trap would be too small for a windrider. Normal nidhogs only need 1 open wall of space to pass through (to lure them into said trap) elite nidhogs are a little bigger though. Though I haven't come across any elite nidhogs on my server yet. xD I have a nidhog trap that is only 2 walls high, 3 foundations wide, and 13 foundations long and it more than easily breaks the tethers for anything I stick into it. 15 foundations is a bit long for anything other than a dragon. not going to use arrows so didnt need doorframes.Īlso I build on pillars with ceilings as a floor to be able place the gate accurately. U hit it from the skylight with a club? I was planning to follow the typical pattern and punch it when its moving away just like nidhogs do. If you want to knock out windrider with a club you must climb on top of your cage, if you go inside your cage it will kill you very quickly.Īlso I build on pillars with ceilings as a floor to be able place the gate accurately. Regarding building components, I use door frames instead of walls and skylight frames instead of ceilings. length of 2 or 3 foundations should be enough for mythicals only, for other creatures I would make it 15+ foundations long so you can shoot hook arrows from outside and then lure creature to break tethers.

2 foundations wide, 3 walls tall, length depends on whether you want to use it only for mythical taming or for other creatures as well.
